The Tasman sea is the backdrop for the shortest hole on Ngamotu. This is a true links hole, with the wind being a major challenge. The prevailing Westerly makes a pin placement cut left extremely difficult to get close for a birdie putt. The pot bunkers in the front are best avoided, as is the out-of-bounds behind the green.
